Self Trust Building List

May 17, 2022

This week's exercise in self trust, if you choose to participate, is a gift that keeps giving.

I am inviting you to an exercise that I started over a year ago and continues to grow and support me.

Particularly during times when I am feeling less than awesome.

It is an invitation to connect to your achievements.

A running list of your amazing-ness, so to speak.

It may feel self indulgent.  Too braggy.  Egotistical.

And yet, I encourage you to see it as proof of what you are capable of; which is A lot.

Acknowledging the achievements you have created in your life has a so many benefits, the least of which is:

  • It feels good
  • It reminds you of all you accomplished that you once didn't know you could
  • It creates possibility
  • it builds self trust thorugh the owning and honoring your achievements

Building self trust doesn't have to be hard AND is so very impactful.

Self trust can mean making decisions more easily.

Following through on plans you make for yourself.

Having your own back in any situation.

Showing up for yourself, even when it feels

  • too hard
  • not important
  • postpone-able
  • a waste of time

Press play in the image above to take me up on this impactful exercise in building self trust.

xo,

Dawn

P.S. I'd love to hear about your lists.  Anything you forgot about?

P.P.S.  If you are struggling to name things achievements, don't pressure yourself or make that mean anything.  Just relax and give yourself space and time to allow things to bubble up to the surface.  I promise they will.  And, if you want help, reach out at [email protected]
